2016 was yet another fantastic year in movies. We had Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling tap dancing in the streets, mysterious spacecrafts touching down across the globe, Natalie Portman transforming into Jackie Kennedy and Denzel Washington being the best actor on the planet in Fences.
To me, a movie isn’t just a movie. At their best, movies are living/breathing pieces of art that capture and preserve a moment in time while also inspiring and teaching us. From our first dinner and a movie date to Friday movie nights at home with a box of pizza and the family – the act of watching films creates lasting memories that are as memorable as the movies themselves.
Be sure to tune in to the Academy Awards with Sunday at 8:30pm EST.
